While some of our patch has been crushed and damaged by an animal, we are no less than what we were. Our energy still sings with the life of what we are. There is no sensation of loss or of difficulty. Nor would there be a sense of triumph in any of these broken stems being once again able to stand up and grow soundly. We simply are what we are. Comparison has no room in our existence. Regret, disappointment or triumph has no bearing on our spirit. We simply are, in all of our sweetness, Jewelweed. See yourself this way, then when you feel crushed or beaten down, when you feel damaged or as though your life is difficult. Remember, that like Jewelweed, the essence of who you are is intact. Leave ideas of triumph or despair behind. Leave comparison behind and revel in the glory of your own spirit as we revel in our own. We are Jewelweed. Be like us.

When you are feeling lonely, listen to the sound of the cricket outside your window, or to the rustle of leaves on a tree. In that moment when you connect with cricket and listen to it in an appreciative way, you move out of loneliness and into connection with the world around you. It is this connection that heals you.

Each path you take is a path of discovery - is a path of genesis. Each choice builds a composite that leads to a natural progression. A path taken with awareness, with consideration, can build a composite that lends itself to harmony. Choose your thoughts well when you can.
